Ghorus Mel was a man, who worked as a pirate.
Mel and some of his companions once discovered a treasure cache on the comet Resh 9376, near to the shadowport Point Nadir. He considered the most stunning thing in the cache to be the Fell Star, an ancient Force-imbued pendant. Mel and his companions got drunk while celebrating their discovery and started fighting over who would get the most valuable items. Mel was severely injured and was driven away, eventually making his way to Point Nadir. However, he was never able to return to the cache to get his share of the treasure.
