After a failed attempt by the Rebel Alliance to extract Han Solo from the clutches of Jabba Desilijic Tiure, Gre'ento was informed by certain Imperials about a planned rendezvous between themselves and Boba Fett. This meeting, set to occur on the forested planet, concerned price negotiations for Solo's carbonite-encased form. Within the dim interior of a questionable establishment, Lando Calrissian, Princess Leia Organa, and Chewbacca approached Gre'ento as he was attempting to court a female of the Rodian species. Initially responding with hostility to their inquiries, Gre'ento's demeanor shifted dramatically when Chewbacca grabbed him by the throat and lifted him off the ground. Aware that divulging information could result in his demise at Fett's hands, but also recognizing the immediate threat to his life posed by Chewbacca, he revealed that he possessed knowledge of a clandestine exchange scheduled for the following day. This exchange, involving Imperials and Fett, was to take place at a deserted spaceport situated across a lake. When pressed for details regarding the nature of the item being exchanged, Gre'ento claimed ignorance and disinterest. The three Rebels departed, with Calrissian confident that Gre'ento would not betray them to Fett, understanding that such an action would likely lead to his own execution.
