The Great Cataclysm was a hypothesized event that geologist Adari Vaal believed might have occurred in the planet Kesh's distant past. Vaal's comparison of minerals from the far-flung continents of Keshtah and Alanciar led her to believe that some massive event cut the two lands off from each other.
