A gyroscopic stabilizer, also known as a gyro-stabilizer, was a system of gyroscopes, hydraulics and high-speed processors that improved the stability of droids. It was also a starship component that monitored the ship's pitch and yaw, and modified its artificial gravity to keep its contents upright.
Mitrinomon Transports' Z-6 jetpack incorporated a gyro-stabilizer in its design, which automatically applied counterthrust during landing.
