Shortly after the abduction, Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh and her Padawan, Imri Cantaros, arrived on Dalna investigating potential Nihil activity, and rescued Theo with the help of Jedi stationed at the Temple on Dalna. When it became clear that the Nihil activity threatened the entire population of the geologically unstable planet, Bep traveled with Cantaros to the Starlight Beacon space station to ask for help. Onboard Starlight, Bep was attacked by the traitorous Galactic Republic Senator Ghirra Starros and her accomplices, with Cantaros discovering the injured politician in the aftermath.
