Handon Guld's wife

The wife of the Human male Handon Guld lived with him on the agrarian Outer Rim planet of Dantooine during the Jedi Civil War between the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire. In 3956 BBY, she had an affair with another colonist named Calder Nettic, which was suspected and eventually discovered by her husband and resulted in their divorce.

Guld and Rickard Lusoff, Nettic's former business partner, each individually planned to murder Nettic. Two days later, they stalked Nettic through Dantooine's Ancient Grove. Guld killed the man with a blaster, and Lusoff shot with his own, accidentally hitting Guld instead. Jedi Knight Bolook and former Sith Lord Revan, who had amnesia and was retraining as a Jedi, carried out an investigation into the murder, during which Guld admitted his knowledge of his wife's infidelity. Both men were arrested and brought to the nearby Jedi Enclave.

Handon Guld's wife was mentioned in the 2003 video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, developed by BioWare. The mention occurs in dialogue during the optional side quest "Murdered Settler," which does not change the player's alignment. The quest will always trigger in a cutscene if the player passes by a small bridge within the Ancient Grove on Dantooine. The quest can be refused or dropped, but The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia confirms that both men were arrested, so the quest must have been canonically completed. When Guld speaks to Revan about his wife's affair, if he is in the player's party, the Mandalorian Canderous Ordo will comment on it, saying that it is Guld's fault for being unable to keep her.
