Set during the Clone Wars, Heroes on Both Sides tells the story of a clone Advanced Recon Commando and a Viidaav commander who, despite fighting on opposite sides during the Battle of Viidaav, both tried to stop a detonation sequence that would kill their troops.

Fighting gunships, battle droids, and security systems, only the two commanders were left in the end. Facing each other with only seconds before detonation, the Viidaav leader was killed, but not before he could shoot the computer. The planet was saved, not by the clone trooper but also by the Viidaav he killed.
