Home Fleet Strike Group Five consisted of three Carrack-class light cruisers under the command of Lieutenant Commander Needa, from his flagship the Integrity, and bolstered by the Indomitable and the Perseverance. The Dreadnought-class heavy cruiser Mas Ramdar supported the strike group.
