By 4 ABY, Admiral Strage was assigned to the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Chimaera as third in command of Death Squadron, the fleet defending the second Death Star.
Horst Strage was killed by an ion cannon shot during the Battle of Endor, making his First Officer, Captain Gilad Pellaeon, the new commanding officer of the Chimaera and of all the fleet after the destruction of the command ships Executor and the Pride of Tarlandia.
Horst Strage was first mentioned as "Chimaeras former captain" in Heir to the Empire.
