The hover-lift was an industrial utility vehicle used for lifting objects. One of these was stationed aboard Count Denetrius Vidian's thorilide-collector Forager during the Gorse Conflict. The rebel Hera Syndulla hijacked the hover-lift and used it to attack the Count's stormtroopers when storming the ship. It was later presumably destroyed with the Forager.
