A howdah was a small curtained cabin framed with lammas wood, two meters by three, barely larger than the long padded chaise within. The draped canopy was bounded by a polished rail and the curtains, multiple layers of gauzy lace, were as translucent as smoke.
Howdahs would be fastened with bolts to the back of ankkoxs which were used as transportation through the jungles of Haruun Kal.
