The inside cover of Hyperspace Stories 6 places the story during the Imperial Era, however it actually takes place during the Republic Era.
In the issue, it is revealed that Rotta was recently born. A doll with a bow is seen being made by Brewhada, which means it is set before Hyperspace Stories 1 where the very same doll appears. The events Hyperspace Stories 1 occur before the Star Wars: The Clone Wars film, where Rotta is portrayed as visibly younger and smaller.
