ILKO was one of the master encrypt codes the Galactic Empire used to transfer data between Imperial Center and the original Death Star construction facility at Despayre.
An entire Alliance team needed a month to break the code; Zakarisz Ghent, a slicer working for Talon Karrde, broke the code single-handedly in two months when he was twelve years old.
ILKO was named for Ilko Deminar, the head of the Cryptanalysis Department of the Senate Bureau of Intelligence in the early stages of the Clone Wars.
