Shortly after leaving Trading Post Sh'ung-tesk, Doctor Chelli Aphra, who had previously refused to help Cracken use the Farkiller in a plot to assassinate Emperor Palpatine, met up with Indigo Squadron and General Cracken after being tracked down on Arbiflux by the Galactic Empire. While she claimed to have returned to help, Aphra's true objective was to retrieve the Farkiller and foil the plot to assassinate the Emperor, so that the Empire would see her as a hero and change their mind about executing her.
The fleet consisted of one MC80A Home One Type Heavy Star Cruiser, three CR90 corvettes, two EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigates, and three GR-75 medium transports. The fleet utilized T-65B X-wing starfighters and RZ-1 A-wing interceptors.
