The invasion of Talay saw the forces of the reconstituted Sith Empire invade the planet Talay, the site of a major Republic outpost and communications hub. The Empire had previously attempted to conquer Talay in the early years of the Great Galactic War, but lost in the Battle of Talay. The Sith Lord Darth Arkous oversaw the second invasion years later, during the Galactic War, though he was nearly assassinated by the Republic Strategic Information Service on Dromund Kaas before he could complete the offensive.
