Because this is an expansion set, it bears an expansion-set symbol, which is located near the top right corner of the card to the right of the lore and below the destiny number. The symbol for this set is Jabba's eye.
This set was sold in 9-card expansion packs and 60-pack expansion boxes. Each pack included one rare card, three uncommon cards and five common cards. Starter decks were never produced for this set. The set went out of print when Decipher lost the license to produce the Star Wars Customizable Card Game. There was never an unlimited version produced for this set.
This set was the original source for the names of many characters from Episode VI, focused on background characters seen in Jabba's Palace and sail barge, and during the battle at the sarlacc pit. The characters include Bane Malar, Attark, Herat, Tanus Spijek, Laudica, Jess, and Loje Nella. Newly identified skiff guards include Kithaba, Nysad, Vizam, and Vedain.
The production name "Wooof" was finally applied here to the Nikto character once mistakenly identified as Klaatu in Kenner's Return of the Jedi action figure collection. The Ugnaught character Yoxgit was named in the set, which retroactively identified him as a Ugnaught portrayed using the same mask.
