The Jalindi relay dish among the world's rocky mountains
Sporting a massive relay dish developed by the Galactic Empire, Jalindi Station was a communications outpost situated atop one of the mountain spikes of the planet Jalindi. Jalindi outpost amplified communications, allowing for the Empire to expand their detection screen in surrounding sectors, conducting large scale information dissemination and the monitoring of transmissions, impeding rebel movements.
Around 1 BBY, the Spectres were deployed to install a spike on the Jalindi relay, so that the rebellion could tap into the Imperial network, and spy on Imperial fleet movements. The rebels were spotted when an Arquitens-class command cruiser, the Marauder arrived, and were forced to scuttle the mission by destroying the Imperial relay dish instead, which Saw Gerrera accomplished when he arrived.
