During an interview with Kristin Baver, Ahmed Best confirmed that Beq had a purple lightsaber color as an intended homage to Jedi Master Mace Windu. Upon appearing in The Mandalorians "Chapter 20: The Foundling," however, Beq's lightsaber was shown to sport a green blade.
