The companion explored deep into the mines and encountered a terentatek that had been freed from an icy prison. The companion escaped the planet with a haul of carbonite and various ores.
Keres II was first mentioned in the second installment of Byss and the Deep Core a series of supplements written by Rodney Thompson for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game and released on the Wizards.com on April 14, 2005. The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Empress Teta system, and therefore the Keres II, in grid square L-8.
