The King's Own Guard was an elite paramilitary unit within the Lazerian army. They maintained their own military installation, and were assigned to guard the Crystal Valley. In the early years of the New Republic, the King's Own Guard was commanded by Alroy Kever. The unit had existed for centuries, and their traditions and methods had been maintained for generations, and the unit had a chivalric code of their own. The King's Own Guard were the best trained and most efficient soldiers in the Lazarian military. Members of the King's Own Guard worn armor and helmets, and were armed with a blaster rifle, a blaster pistol, and a vibroblade. They also carried a comlink, a medpac, and a pocket computer.
