The King of Aleen was a largely ceremonial position of the Aleena monarchy that governed the planet Aleen. The Aleena Manchucho held this position during the Clone Wars.
When the Galactic Republic lended assistance to the groundquake-struck Aleen, King Manchucho represented the Aleena population to the Republic forces sent to the world. Later, having heard that the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 fell through the Great Seal ruins into the Aleen Underworld, Manchucho led his followers into a ceremonial chant before the site, attempting to settle the imbalance between the worlds of the surface and the subsurface.
