Nirasic studied in several colleges throughout the Republic, including the Svivren Xenomineralogy Institute. Later, he worked in most areas of mining in several planets, including his native Svivren, Af'El and Vactooine, commonly combining philanthropy and profitability.
Nirasic eventually went to Bandomeer and found out that the Offworld Corporation controlled the local mining. Nirasic created Southern Bandomeer Consolidated to become its competitor and wrestle with Offworld, while at the same time improving the status of the miners.
