Kodyok-leather was a type of leather made from the hide of a Kod'yok.
In 10 BBY, droid trainers at Ralakili's Droid fighting pits at The Lodge on the planet Vandor used tool wraps made of this kind of leather to carry their equipment.
The human male slicer known as DJ sometimes wore a coat made of kodyok-leather during the war between the Resistance and the First Order.
Kodyok-leather was first mentioned in Star Wars: The Last Jedi: The Visual Dictionary, a reference book written by Pablo Hidalgo, serving as an easter egg referring to a creature that would make it's debut the following year in Solo: A Star Wars Story. At the time of writing it was thought that the creature in question, the Kod'yok would have a substantial role in the film, as revealed in the book Industrial Light & Magic Presents: Making Solo: A Star Wars Story. The spelling was changed after the Visual Dictionary came out from "Kodyok" to "Kod'yok" and it is with the latter spelling that this type of leather was mentioned again by Hidalgo in the book Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide.
