Pirate warlord Nym kept two kusaks, named Razor and Scourge, as guardians in his palace. A pack of kusaks, including Runt, Bedhead, Blinky, Scarecrow, Slobbers, Troubles, Wart Face, Gargle, Ding and Speedbump, was also used to guard Nym's Stronghold.

Kusaks appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.
