The Leeni plush toy
Leeni first appeared as one of six 8-inch plush woklings made by Kenner as part of their Return of the Jedi toy line. Her first appearance in fiction was as a background character with no spoken lines in the Ewoks television series.
Her name appears only on a Nelvana animation model sheet, which matches a character in the group of young Ewoks in the episode "The Haunted Village" and again in "Sunstar vs. Shadowstone." The Star Wars Encyclopedia also refers to her as a character from the cartoon series.
