Limna Renence was an officer of the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. Around the time of the Battle of Yavin, Renence was a recruiting officer in the recruitment office of the Imperial Navy. Limna Renence was involved in a large recruitment program of new pilots for the Imperial Starfighter Corps. Although the Imperial Navy recruitment program was a success, the Rebel Alliance and neutral factions soon initiated similar programs that were also very successful.
Limna Renence was mentioned in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. The document mentioning Limna Renence was added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Jump to Lightspeed on October 27, 2004.
