Lithium Magna was a manufactured substance that was available on the black market and which could be combined with the chemical catalyst Lucogen to form a binary explosive. During a banquet in the penthouse of the Hutt crime lord Popara Anjiliac on Nar Shaddaa in 19 ABY, Popara's son Mika sought to assassinate his father and arranged for Popara to be given some wine that contained traces of Lithium Magna. Popara subsequently dined on several worms that were laced with Lucogen, and the Lithium Magna combined with the Lucogen and caused Popara to explode.
