Lythian pirate raids

The Lythian pirate raids were a number of attacks done by Lythian pirates on the planet Jabiim during the Great Peace of the Republic. During the raids, the pirates besieged small communities and killed many people, including Alto Stratus' parents. The Jabiimi special forces proved instrumental in driving off the pirates.

After the raids, Alto Stratus never forgot that neither the Galactic Republic nor the Jedi Knights traveled to Jabiim to eliminate the threat, and cited the past record of Republic apathy to fuel public support in the Clone Wars during the Battle of Jabiim.
