After being extracted from New Republic custody, Moff Gideon returned to the base. Gideon was present in the base during a meeting with the Shadow Council, in which he discussed his concerns and plans to be rid of the Mandalorians.
After Mandalorians returned to the planet with the goal of retaking their homeworld, they were ambushed and lured into the Imperial base by Imperial armored commandos. Gideon launched TIE interceptors and bombers which were stationed in the base. Din Djarin was captured by Gideon, though the other Mandalorians were able to escape due to the sacrifice of Paz Vizsla.
The Imperial base was later assaulted by the remainder of the Mandalorians, inflicting heavy casualties upon the Imperials, before Axe Woves rammed their captured light cruiser into the base, destroying it.
