Manta pears were a type of fruit. Manta pear flavoured syrup was used in Dex's Diner on the planet Coruscant as a flavouring to add to Fizzyglug. A Gamorrean guard once accepted an award for bringing dignity to his uniform even when it was covered in decomposing manta pears.
