Marsabi was an individual who did research on kyber crystals. Marsabi's research was followed up to a degree by Galen Erso, however he was more interested in what Cuata had been doing on Mygeeto and Christophsis before the Clone Wars placed them in danger. Marsabi was recruited by the Galactic Empire to take part in the design of the weapon of the Death Star, but later disappeared.
