Melacon

Melacon was a world located in the Jalor system of the Mid Rim and the New Territories at the coordinates J-7 on the Standard Galactic Grid. It was an arid world, and it had no surface water.

During a test organized by the Jedi Order for the Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi and his Padawan Anakin Skywalker in 26 BBY, they apprehended the Anomid criminal Grynask Sanberge, who, unknown to them, was Jedi Master Mace Windu in disguise. The two Jedi attempted to track a broadcast sent to Sanberge, narrowing the location down to the Jalor system. As the sound of oceans could be heard in the recording, the Jedi disregarded Melacon.
