Middish Sunblade was a male being who existed in the galactic Cold War era, approximately around the time of a duel that took place on the planet known as Odacer-Faustin.
The character Middish Sunblade was conceived by the writer Joe Schreiber for his 2010 book, Red Harvest. Schreiber patterned the character after Holden Caulfield, who is the main character of J. D. Salinger's 1951 book, The Catcher in the Rye. Ultimately, he removed Sunblade from the completed version of the novel because he considered him an annoying character that the other characters disliked.
