The Midlis were a caste of the Quesoth, an insectoid sentient species that resided on the planet Quethold. The Midlis possessed less intelligence that the Quesoth Circlings, but had a far greater level of intelligence than the Quesoth Soldiers and , and they also had a limited ability to use equipment. The Midlis' primary duties were to oversee the Quesoth Workers and the highest position available to a Midli was to become the bowlcarrier of the Quesoth Queen.
