Mirror-Spires

A readout on the Falcon identified the spires and the reflective surfaces made it difficult for Finn, a Resistance member aboard the Falcon, to tell how many starfighters were pursuing them and which towers were real and which only reflections. Dameron barely avoided a collision as several of the TIEs crashed, before jumping the Falcon again to the Typhonic Nebula.

The Mirror-Spires first appeared in the 2019 sequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, and was first identified in the accompanying reference book Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo. It was inspired by Ralph McQuarrie artwork from The Illustrated Star Wars Universe.
