The Mission in the Belassar system occurred during the Galactic Civil War, when the Galactic Empire intended to the suppress Rebel Alliance activity in the system. Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan undertook a mission in the Belassar system during the struggle, along with pilot Jon "Dutch" Vander. The princess transmitted messages, dispensed much-needed material, and brought time for the Rebel evacuation.
