During the Clone Wars, Senator Padmé Amidala undertook a mission to Clabron, after Grand Minister Stin summoned her there to ally with the Galactic Republic. However, the Confederacy of Independent Systems learnt of the meeting, sending the assassin Lis Mohles to kill Stin. She succeeded in fatally wounding Stin, but failed to kill Amidala, who captured her. Stin's replacement, Second Minister Tarmin, refused to send the Clabronians to fight in the war, but agreed to provide aid to the Republic.
