When Darth Scabrous's alchemically-created virus was unleashed upon the school, Ra'at initially survived an attack from a zombifed student. He later met, and teamed-up with, several fellow students. Despite internal strife and distrust, the students worked out some of the truth behind the infection, and armed themselves against the undead. Ra'at and the others found themselves trapped in the Sith Academy, and resolved to fight their way out.
Unfortunately, Ra'at was infected while battling zombies. His attempts to use the Dark Side to strengthen himself only accelerated the transformation. Transformed into a bloodthirsty zombie, Mnah tried to attack Master Hracken. The Sith Master immediately killed the boy with Force lightning to prevent him from succumbing to the disease and attacking his classmates.
