Modon Kira was the King of Onderon during the Galactic Civil War. He resided in Kira Fortress and was the husband of Lady Kira.
He helped Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Empatojayos Brand attack Imperial stormtroopers and Emperor Palpatine's Imperial Shuttle.
