Mummers

Named after the mummergy plant, the Mummers were a group of bootleggers who produced and traded illegal alcoholic beverages and spices. However, the Mummers radicalized at some point, becoming a terrorist organization.

Mummers were also known to often use toxins in combat.

By the time of the Battle of Yavin, the Mummers were considered by the RSF Intelligence Division as one of the four major criminal groups on Naboo, along with the Skaak Tippers, the Nal Raka Criminal Empire and the Darkwalkers.

In 1 ABY, the Mummers committed a terrorist attack in the capital city of Theed. In retaliation, their base was raided by troopers of the Royal Naboo Security Forces led by Sergeant Brunser. The RSF troopers found a number of biochemical weapons that had been cached among the many illegal items that had been stockpiled within the Mummers' base. The bunker commander Jaye Hawkson and the Mummer Chief Scientist Crimsol Vaighn were killed during the attack.

After those events, the Mummers continued to use the bunker. The wanted murderer Hunnos Jarkey briefly took refuge there after he escaped the Royal Naboo Security Forces. Later, Tanoa Vills dispatched a spacer to the Mummer Cave, in the Gallo Mountains, in order to get an from Mummer scientists.

Around the same time, Sergeant Eom Nia ordered a young cadet to attack the Mummer Cave as part of his officer combat training.
