The New Republic Home Fleet was a fleet in the naval forces of the New Republic. One notable capital ship in the Home Fleet was the heavy cruiser Dawn of Tranquility, before it was retired.
The fleet consisted of several Nebulon-B Escort Frigates and Mon Calamari Star Cruisers. Several starships of the New Republic Cruiser series were also part of the fleet.
The entire Home Fleet was vaporized in 34 ABY when the First Order destroyed the Republic-controlled Hosnian system with its superweapon, Starkiller Base.
The New Republic Home Fleet first appeared in the 2015 film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, the first installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy.
