In the middle of a maze of ruins, Affie Hollow reminds Leox Gyasi that he said the ruins were abandoned. Leox responds that their client says that nobody has lived here in centuries. As several armed humans converge on them, Affie says she is not so sure. Leox agrees.
Affie asks if these people are raiders who are also after the stone. Leox replies that raiders don't bring such large crews. Affie is worried about Geode but Leox reassures her that Geode is hiding in a nearby crevice and is a master of camouflage. Affie grumbles that they thought their next job would be easy. Leox replies that this job is easier than fighting the Drengir and the Hutts. While fleeing the "raiders," Leox says at least he thought it was going to be easier.
Affie suggests heading back to the Vessel to retrieve their blasters. Leox reminds her that he doesn't like using weapons. Affie replies that she likes dying even less before jumping over one of the bushy mazes. As they approach the Vessel with the mob hot on their trail, Affie vows that they would never take another treasure hunting job again. Leox agrees. Reaching the gangplank of the Vessel, Leox says that he doesn't want to hurt anyone.
While reaching for her blaster, Affies agrees with Leox but reminds them that the locals want to hurt them. Leox realizes that the means more to them than a gemstone. The locals denounce the offworlders as thieves. Affie pleads with Leox to do something quickly. Leox decides that shooting will make things worse and decides to reason with the locals. He apologizes to the locals for taking the gemstone, explaining that they were told that nobody revered this thing. Realizing they were wrong, he offers to return the gemstone.
An elderly woman replies that the offworlders should not have been quick to believe what they were told. She thanks them for returning the Sun Jewel to them, even if it was too late. When Affie asks what she meant by "too late," the lady explains that the sun will reach the point that marks the path of their Prophetess within minutes. Since they will not have enough time to return the Sun Jewel to its rightful place, she says that the Prophetess' light will not shine this year.
Leox replies that they might have a solution to the problem. To rectify the problem, Leox places the Sun Jewel on Geode. Affie tells Leox that at least they are not going to let Geode live this down. Leox replies that Geode will keep telling the story till he dies. The lady thanks them for showing that the Prophetess' path will always shine clear and invites the offworlders to join them at their feast. Leox accepts the invitation.
At the feast, the two feast on meat and corn. Leox asks Affie to promise him that their next job is going to be easy. Affie replies that she just received a message from a Jedi friend asking for transportation to Starlight Beacon. Leox remarks that their job doesn't get much easier.
