Norsid was a planet under the control of the Galactic Empire. Sometime prior to 9 BBY, the Jedi survivor Cal Kestis worked with members of the Partisans in an attempt to spark a coup to overthrow the Imperial regime oppressing the planet. The coup would ultimately fail, a fact that was later referenced by Cal's one-time captor, the Imperial Senator of Utapau, Daho Sejan.
