Occupation of Mon Cala

The occupation of Mon Cala was the Galactic Empire's occupation of the planet Mon Cala, which began after the invasion of Mon Cala, after Mon Calamari King Lee-Char incited a war on Mon Cala. During the occupation, Ardo Barodai worked as a bartender where he eavesdropped on Imperial officers and passed on intelligence to the rebellion. During the occupation, Darth Vader personally ordered the torture and imprisonment of Mon Calamari and Quarren, a fact General Nossor Ri brought up to Vader's daughter Leia Organa, when she tried to appeal to King Ech-Char for Mon Cala to provide ships to the Resistance in 34 ABY.

The occupation was thwarted when the Mon Calamari and Quarren joined together and destroyed the Imperial garrison.
