When the Eyttyrmin Batiiv pirates were crushed at the Battle of Khuiumin, Omin fled with some survivors. They went to the Tragan system, in the Outer Rim Territories, and founded Providence, with the remains of their now unusable starships.
Omin had the reputation of being vicious, ruthless and extremely reckless.
Omin was mentioned by Jean-Michel Ringuet for the ambiguously canon roleplaying aid "Providence," which appeared in the French magazine Avalon 1.
