Oplovis

In 48 BBY, the Human male Gaen Drommel was born on Oplovis. Drommel went on to become an admiral in the navy of the Galactic Empire. When he was assigned the command of the Executor-class Star Dreadnought Guardian during the Galactic Civil War, Drommel dispatched his executive officer, Gastos Niovi, to personally pick up Oplovis linens from the admiral's homeworld for the latter's new quarters aboard the Guardian. After the death of Galactic Emperor Palpatine at the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, Drommel established his own personal domain in the Oplovis sector, based in the space surrounding his homeworld.

Oplovis was first mentioned in the 1993 sourcebook Wanted by Cracken, written by Louis J. Prosperi for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Oplovis system, and therefore the world itself, in grid square M-5.
