An'ya Kuro, known as the Dark Woman, had a training ground for Jedi students on the planet. She was training Aurra Sing on this planet when the girl was kidnapped by star pirates.
Around 34 BBY, Trench, while in the employ of the Corporate Alliance, led the destruction of a pirate base on the planet.
The planet was called "Ord Manurt" in the Power of the Jedi Sourcebook, and misspelled as "Ord Namur" in Jedi: Aayla Secura.
