The Outer Rim Third Fleet was one of the fleets in the Imperial Navy of Darth Krayt's Sith Empire in 137 ABY.
The Outer Rim Third Fleet attempts to prevent the Evacuation of Dac.
Composed of at least nine Imperial fast frigates and seven Pellaeon-class Star Destroyers, including the flagship Relentless, this battle fleet was tasked with eliminating Admiral Gar Stazi of the Galactic Alliance Remnant.
It was under of the command of Admiral Sha Dun, a Kel Dor. In light of his failure to capture Admiral Stazi, Sith Lord Darth Azard killed Dun, replacing him with Admiral Valan. Valan planned a trap over Mon Calamari, which became the Battle of Mon Calamari. This battle was a complete failure for the Third Fleet, which not only allowed the Remnant to escape with the Imperious-class Star Destroyer Imperious, but also destroyed a third of the Mon Calamari docks. After the defeat, Admiral Valan apparently committed suicide.
After Darth Wyyrlok ordered the elimination of all life on Dac, the Outer Rim Third Fleet was sent to prevent the Galactic Alliance Remnant and its allies from evacuating the planet's population. Under the command of Darth Stryfe, Moff Geist and Admiral Krion Grail, the Outer Rim Third Fleet was unable to contain the evacuation and suffered heavy damage at the fire of the Alliance and the Fel-loyalist fleet commanded by General Oron Jaeger. At the behest of Geist, Lord Stryfe accepted to withdraw.
