Outreach programs were projects designed to aid galactic citizens. Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh, leader of the Galactic Republic, launched several outreach programs to expand towards the Outer Rim Territories. An integral part of the project was Starlight Beacon, a space station under the control of the Jedi Order. The Jedi Order held outreach programs on the planet Coruscant. Jedi Padawan once attended an outreach program that involved several hundred Jedi Vectors flying in a Drift above the Senate Plaza.
Although many were in support of outreach programs, some, including the Marchion Ro, saw the Republic's outreach efforts as an intrusion and a selfish projection of their power.
Following the outbreak of the Niffin plague on the planet Mathas, the Jedi Order created an outreach program to help its citizens.
