A Force-sensitive, Page was inducted into the Jedi Order and received training in the ways of the Force at the Coruscant Jedi Temple. When the Clone Wars erupted between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Page remained at the Temple and participated in the 19 BBY Jedi Temple Apprentice Tournament. Administrated by Master Ilena Xan, Page faced off against fellow Initiate Gilp .
In The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia Page's name is mistakenly combined with Padawan Gilp. In the novel, Yoda: Dark Rendezvous, the names of the pairs of Padawans that are about to duel each other are being called by Master Ilena Xan. Each pair is listed, surname only; i.e. "Flerp, Zrim." and "Page, Gilp." Later Xan calls out, "Chizzik, Enwandung-Esterhazy," thus providing the reader with concrete evidence that only surnames were being used.
